An interesting thing happen today with our sweet Sasha. She was outside today, enjoying the weather and being away from her puppies. She has free access to go back with them whenever she likes. A while later, we discovered a newly born rabbit in the puppy box! Sasha had found the kit somewhere and tried to adopt it. Unfortunately, it was injured probably by the puppies. Just goes to show what a good mom Sasha is, she already has been raising two of Ellie's puppies.

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the nation's largest dog show today. It was a very enjoyable experience meeting many breeds and breeders; and of course, seeing all the wonderful specimens of the beagle breed! Here are a few pictures (actually, more than a few, but not all)... Sasha's puppies are walking around now - getting sturdier and faster every day. I will try to take individual pictures tommorow.
Sasha's puppies are doing very well. Their eyes are opening, and it's exciting to see them start trying to walk. The blue haze on their eyes is normal after a puppy first opens its eyes. It will clear up in a few days...
